The Dogs New Ride!

My red beast of a truck decided that it would not be able to hang out with us this training season so I got a newer truck (by 8 years) to take its place.  I have the same dog box but thanks to Cullen, Andrew, Erin and Zane my dog box has a new look - black accented with purple doors!! It looks gorgeous!  I also installed the new license plate MSHGRL!  The dogs will be riding in style!

New t-shirt design for Angie Taggart 2013 Iditarod

My Friend Evon Zerbetz has graciously allowed me to use her awesome musher linocut for my 2013 Iditarod t-shirt. This print is so fabulous because it shows ravens sitting along the trail just like I see while out mushing the dogs! I will be taking orders for shirts in a few weeks! I will put two orders in for the t-shirts before Iditarod. The first order will be printed in November and the second will be printed in January. By doing it this way I will not have any left over t-shirts not accounted for.

Iditarod 2013

Beginning in September the dogs and I will begin training with the 4-wheeler. I am looking forward to this upcoming race season! We still are in need of monies to help prepare and feed the dogs. If you feel so inclined to help out monetarily thank you so very much!! This race is not cheap!

Well, Iditarod 2013 may be happening . . . there are still a few things that need to be looked into but . . .

Decisions, decisions . . .

As most of you probably have guessed this year I will not be running the "Last Great Race" I felt that due to the last two years of extreme stress I would take a year off to recuperate and try different things. I still have my dogs and I am excited to let you know that some of them will be running in Iditarod 2012 with my friend Jan Steves. I will also have the opportunity to go up to Willow to help Jan run and train the dogs.
Thank you again to everyone who supported "my dream" of running the Iditarod. We will see what life bring for the 2013 season!!
