Running for breast cancer awareness.
Well, the countdown is on, only 27 more days until I am up in Wasilla running with the big dogs! Reality still has not set in. In just over a month I will be on the back of a sled being pulled 200 miles across snow-covered tundra and ice by 12 wonderful athletes. Am I bit freaked out? The answer would have to be YES! This is a dream that I have had since 2001, the year that I handled for musher DeeDee Jonrowe. The mushing bug bit me hard that year and, ever since, I have not been able to shake it. This is why I am preparing to run my first sled dog race -

Yippee! I am so excited for you to have a blog! If you can get me on facebook then you have to have a blog! :) I am also SO excited for your mushing adventures & know that your love for this sport will be evident in all you do, whether in preparation at the kennel or running on the trail.
